Looking for Things to Do? Here’s Where to Go in March (and What to Wear)

Charley, Harrison, New Jersey

Open Now

The Michelin-starred Austrian chef behind Manhattan’s beloved Wallsé has switched things up. Though Kurt Gutenbrunner’s latest eatery is still Austrian (cook what you know, after all!), it’s in the town of Harrison, New Jersey and it’s far more casual. There’s still schnitzel on the menu, but it’s a kaffeeklatsch-friendly kaffeehaus—no reservation required. Inside, the cheerful, color-splashed space is filled with Austrian paraphernalia, so dress on theme. We’re loving the Vienna-based Petar Petrov, especially this asymmetrical striped top and slick double-breasted coat. The jeans by Helmut Lang (whose namesake is Austrian, of course) will go well with a Normalzeit watch—designed after Vienna’s cube-shaped public clocks.
